  • Raffle
The success of the Marist Food Fair will largely depend on our ability to keep everyone safe and healthy. Food safety guidelines must always be followed.

We educate students in a nurturing community where relationships and meaningful connections are valued and celebrated. Our students gain knowledge, communicate effectively, develop exceptional character, and become responsible citizens of a global society. We inquire into the world around us through rigorous academic programmes that aim to prepare students for life’s opportunities.

EXCELLENCE: Make excellence and quality a part of each day and seek continuous improvement in all that we do.

PEOPLE FIRST: Build sustainable and meaningful partnerships, embrace diversity, and connect with the community.

INNOVATION: Seek innovative and creative approaches to problem-solving.

CARING: Be a person of good character who is responsible, respectful, reflective, and acts to make the world a better place.

The Marist Food Fair is an event for the entire community and an opportunity for our students to participate as well as learn about the challenges and successes of running components of the event, running a small enterprise, or providing service to the community.

Montessori & Kindergarten – Our youngest students are able to participate in the event with their parents and are welcome to attend between 10:00am – 15:00 pm. Students should be supervised by their parents / guardians at all times.

Lower School – Our lower school students are able to participate in the event with their parents and are welcome to attend between 10.00am – 15.00pm. Students should be supervised by their parents / guardians at all times. Some lower school students may be invited to volunteer to support a booth. In such cases, the teacher in charge of the booth (Booth Leader) will provide information to parents prior to the event.

Upper School – Upper school students are involved in many aspects of the Marist Food Fair. The various student organizations run booths and support with the setting up and packing down of the event. Upper school students may be released from the last period of the Friday before the event to set up their booths. Students participate in the event on the Saturday and although their parents are invited to attend, upper school students can attend the event without supervision.

The Marist Food Fair involves many people, and it is important to identify key people who are involved in the planning, organization and running of the event. We will use a simple lanyard system to identify key people on the day:

  • Marist Faculty and Staff – Maroon Lanyard and ID
  • Marist PTA – Black Lanyard and ID
  • Marist Alumni – Maroon and Gold Pin Stripe Lanyard and ID
Alcoholic beverages will be served at the Marist Food Fair pending official authorization from local authorities. It is the school’s responsibility to ensure that alcohol is not served by people under the age of 20. It is also the school’s responsibility to ensure that alcohol is not consumed by people under the age of 20 or to people who are intoxicated.

The Elementary School bathrooms can be accessed from the field for children under 18 years of age

  • The Upper School bathrooms assigned to adults only
  • The Library bathrooms are designated for adults and wheelchair access
  • The Montessori and Kindergarten bathrooms are designated for families with small children (1 adult toilet and 5 toilets for children under 18 years of age)
  • Gym toilets closed unless the event moves to contingency plan

Please contact the Food Fair Executive Committee Leader if you need volunteer helpers on the day to support your booth.
